Explosion vents

Bursting panels, also known as explosion vents, are the simplest deflagration protective units, widely applied in industry. The main feature is a high rate of reliability and high cost-efficiency, as the price is low and infrequent servicing is involved.

VALWO proposes a broad range of FIKE’s rupture membranes, devoted to all branches of manufacture. Especially hygienic line of products for food industry have been laid down, which are adapted to CIP/SIP procedures.

FLEX-V EXPLOSION PANEL

Explosion vents applied in appliances working with high efficiency to protect against dust and gases explosion consequences. It provides a re-closure after activation, so then 90% of cross section is covered and an oxygen access, to protected device, is limited. Thus, a re‑explosion hazard is limited. Also a proper performance of extinguishing installations is provided.

EXCOVER FLOOR COVERING

Where a dust, wind and snow, ice may disturb an appropriate performance and fans or air conditioners are used Ex-Cover shield is recommended. When panels are assembled at the top of a tank it also prevents from injuries of working stuff, caused by panels rupture and falling inside. ExCover volunteers weightless and corrosion resistant construction, which avers rupture panels protection against dust, wind, snow or other such agents.

Fike Corporation was established since 1945, USA

The headquarter is places at Blue Springs, Missouri. From the beginning company was focused on implementation of industrial explosion and fire protection systems, based on gained experience. Since that time, many branches have been launched all over the world (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Spain, Canada, Japan, Brazil, India, Bahrain, Malaysia.

In Czech Republic, official representative of Fike is VALWO s.r.o. The most recognized Fike products are rupture panels and bursting disc (explosion offloading), active protection systems against explosion (HRD/SRD) and passive – such as flame quenchers (flameless offloading) or other modern solutions as pinch valves or fast activating valves. Common feature of all the equipment is, beside increasing the level of safety, significant increase of economic aspects – lowering the exploitation costs.
